In August 2024, Queen's Valley School hosted the Children’s Film Festival under the CBSE Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative. Students from classes III to VII enthusiastically participated in the event, which featured the screening of a documentary on the folktales and historical significance of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, including the iconic Cellular Jail.
This cultural activity aimed to promote the spirit of national unity and integration while fostering an appreciation for India’s rich cultural diversity. The documentary provided students with insights into the traditions, customs, and unique heritage of Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands.
After the screening, students created interactive displays, bookmarks, and brochures showcasing the islands' breathtaking tourism, cuisine, culture, and natural beauty. These artistic efforts highlighted the students' creativity and enhanced their knowledge and appreciation for India's vibrant heritage.
